Tower can be a little pricey, but then again this is honest to goodness pizza from scratch.

I ordered my pie with extra cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives. A waitress greeted me took my name (and bang) there was my pizza. I don’t think there was an empty table in the place. The gal told me it would be ready in twenty minutes. I'm glad I got to try this place, but I doubt I'll be back.I ordered a 12 inch pizza for carry out. For example, there's another local place- Theo's Pizza, right across the street and they have better prices and more options. This spot is a Metairie classic, but there are better options out there. They were generous with the cheese and I did like how big the mushrooms are. I didn't really like that the pepperoni was under the cheese, so it didn't have a chance to crisp up in the oven. The pizza was good, but was it $22 good? No. We ordered the Tower Special, which came topped with sausage, pepperoni, onions, green peppers and mushrooms. How hard would it be to just have some canned tea in the fridge for people who want it? There's no bread or anything like that, which we found kind of odd and they also didn't have tea on the menu. The menu is pretty basic: you got pizza, salad and spaghetti. tables and chairs and a window looking into the kitchen. The place is about as basic as a pizza parlor gets: it's located in a strip mall and it's a 'seat yourself' place with. I had heard raves about this spot from pizza lovers, so David and I decided to check it out for dinner.
